As a longtime fan of the webtoon Solo Leveling, I was excited to see it hit the big screen

Story

Over a decade after the 'Gates' worlds were connected, awakening 'hunters' with superpowers, the weakest hunter Sung Jinwoo encounters a double dungeon and accepts a mysterious task, becoming the only one who can advance to a higher level, changing his fate.

The film begins with an hour-long recap of Season 1, which, while a bit lengthy for my taste, served as a solid introduction for newcomers

I brought a friend who hadn’t seen the first season, and to my surprise, he was able to follow the plot without any problems – although the transitions between scenes and episodes seemed a bit abrupt, even for me.

After the recap, the climax begins: the first two episodes of Season 2 (probably).

The animation and design perfectly capture the essence of the webtoon, delivering the same exciting, high-quality visuals that fans have come to love.

For fans and newcomers alike, it’s a fantastic appetizer for what’s to come

This theatrical event has me excited for the upcoming season and eager for it to be released on Crunchyroll.
